Physical Therapy Associates opened their doors in 1990 with the University Place Clinic.
Our treatment philosophy is to create a personalized treatment plan based on each patient’s injury and rehabilitation needs. Whether you are a weekend warrior, an athlete, injured on the job, injured in a motor vehicle accident or you just have pain, Physical Therapy Associates is here to get you back to where you want to be.

Peggy is a Manual Physical Therapist who started her career in California and has spent the last several years working in the Puget Sound area. She has been with Physical Therapy Associates since it’s foundation in 1990.

Specialties
Rehabilitation after breast cancer, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pre/post-partum dysfunction, headaches, cervical dysfunctions, sacrum, back and rib dysfunction, sports and general orthopedic dysfunction.

  • Physical Therapy Certificate, California School of Physical Therapy
  • Certification through the American Physical Therapy Association Section on Women’s Health Achievement in Pelvic Physical (CAPP-Pelvic)

Personal Interests

Shawn Quenga, DPT

Education and Experience

Shawn enjoys helping patients of all ages, children to elderly, achieve their rehabilitation goals. Shawn holds a biology degree from Washington State University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. He is currently licensed in the state of Washington. Shawn has more than 10 years’ experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, working out and staying actively involved in his kid’s sports. Shawn is also a die-hard Seahawks fan!

Kari has been with Physical Therapy Associates since August 2015.  When she’s not putting a smile on the patient’s faces, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 4 children.  She is a big Seahawks fan and enjoys rooting them on all year round.

Carol joined Physical Therapy Associates in 2008.  She has earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and family.  You can find her swimming, biking or running training for her favorite triathlon.
